About ME
My name is Emmi, I am a Brummie, although my accent seems to be turning into a weird mix of East Staffordshire, thanks to living in Burton Upon Trent for the last 5 years.
I am a 90's baby and forever an Emo kid. One of those crafty girlies that has to be dragged out of Hobbycraft by her hair.
I found learning hard when I was little and my creativity was a comfort blanket. That's why it is my mission to empower all of you to fall in love with your own creativity.
My partner and I are navigating our 30's with my two-step boys who are growing way too quickly. I am a Pescatarian foodie; we love cooking from scratch.
Anyone that comes over is given a tour of the garden and must pretend to be impressed by my homegrown produce. I love animals of all kinds and will comfortably have a little chat with wildlife.
Growing up in the city, I now adore the slow life, greenery and being outside.
I think it's so important to appreciate the small glimmers life brings. In this crazy world we have to find joy where we can and being silly can really help with that.
I will always enable you to get that little treat! As you definitely deserve it!
My Why..
Through every tricky time in my life creativity has brought a sense of peace mixed in with empowerment that I think we should all have access too.
Some of you may know that over the last 5 years I put my soul into creating a bakery business. One day I realised my inner artist had been screaming that she had been neglected.
So I made myself a promise to make creativity a priority and in that time. It has worked wonders for my mental health whilst building a business. Building a community has always been a dream and now I have the calling to jump in head first and dedicate myself to being your creative companion.
Not only that the wonderful humans that I have met in the small buisness community are now some of my ride or dies.
People that are making things out of love, who understand the crazy rollercoaster that is being entrepreneurial.
So that's why I am building a space for us all to slow down, connect and play. So many of us either tell ourselves we are creative in our business and that's enough or have totally lost the time for creative practise.
Some of us think creativity is only for others.
I am here to show you that creativity is for all and we should have never been told we need to grow out of play.
As play is what helps us navigate our emotions, feeds our new ideas and guides us to find new opportunities.

Doing things just for the purpose of making ourselves happy is not a reward. It is what makes life beautiful.
Yes we have to work, yes we have responsibilities but our inner child deserves love and attention too.
They are who we actually are underneath all the adulting.
Being silly, bringing joy into our lives through tiny acts of fun. finding love in old hobbies and new. Making things with our hands away from a screen. These are all things we can do for ourselves to create space to heal, grow and find balance.

we are going through this with you, learning to be okay with making mistakes. Shaking off procrastination and perfectionism.
Delving into creativity sometimes feels alien or uncomfortable to start. We are going to push through that together as a collective. Lean into play and exploration so we can take it with us into our every day lives and busniesses.
Who knows what is around the corner if we let ourselves try new things. We are each others accountability, support system and biggest cheerleaders.
